I would like to thank everyone who visited us in the gallery last week. I am still overwhelmed by how many people joined us for the Vernissage on Friday. It was an honour to showcase my art to such a great crowd and I loved explaining and discussing my pieces. Next to that, I enjoyed catching up with old friends, meeting new awesome people and having interesting conversations. I hope that everyone had as much fun as I had!

Engaged

For me, the awesomeness of these few days didn’t end there. As most of you might already know, I also got engaged. I secretly painted a very special piece in our living room whenever my girlfriend (now fiancé) wasn’t home. I unveiled it to her and popped the question one day before the Vernissage. I wouldn’t exaggerate if I called the last few days the best days of my life.

Missed it? Don’t Worry

However, don’t worry if you weren’t able to attend. I am sure that we will organise more events in the future. I hope to see you at upcoming events and send you big thanks for following and supporting me and my art & photography endeavours. Please sign up to my newsletter and follow me on instagram to stay updated.

Shout Outs

I want to make another shoutout to Noble Corazon who sponsored a Tequila tasting. My favourite of their artisanally crafted Tequilas was the “Extra Añejo”, which was yours? Special thanks again to my dad, who’s not only my biggest inspiration for painting, but also helped curating and setting up my first exhibition. Big thanks also to my good friend and co-host Conrad, who often challenged and helped to think through my insane ideas. Last but not least thanks a lot to my fiancé Lisa who lets me paint in our living room. She first regretted that when I accidentally marked the white ceiling as i stretched and forgot that I was still holding a brush.

For Sale

Most of my work is for sale. Please contact me if you’re interested in paintings, photo prints, a street photography book or mugs.

Please find more photos of the event here.
